Biographical Information:

Saori Lewis is a photography conservator at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City, MO. She earned Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language from the Seinan Gakuin University in Fukuoka Japan, Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography from Kansas City Art Institute in Kansas City, MO, and Master of Arts degree with certificate in Art Conservation, focusing on photograph conservation, form Buffalo State Collage. She received training at Heugh-Edmondson Conservation Services, LLC. in Kansas City, MO, prior to entering the graduate program. During her studies at Buffalo State Collage, she completed internships at the Weissman Preservation Center in Boston, MA, Cultural Recovery Center in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston in Houston, TX.
