Thank you so much Marie! The information is very helpful. Is the acid-free paper buffered?

Hi, Darsita- we use cylindrical glass vials of various sizes with screw top caps (available from Fisher Scientific/Carolina Biological/Grainger) for charcoal, egg shell, botanicals, etc. We then carefully top them off with wadded acid-free tissue to prevent the artifacts from shifting. Lastly, we place the vial in a poly bag labeled with pertinent information.

Hello everyone, I am re-housing archaeological objects, and I was hoping for some advice, specifically for charcoal, burned organic material. Currently the charcoal is housed in plastic bags (poly) in a box. There are smaller pieces housed in vials (plastic). Thank you so much! Any information is appreciated!
