Never rub PLEXIGLAS® completely dry. This results in the brand acrylic glass becoming electrostatically charged, which in turn attracts dust. This may also result in scratches on the surface.
This site also mentions that using Isopropyl alcohol is safe on its product, however the products listed are masks or other protective gear, not built objects.

Wet the plexiglass with a solution made from water and dish soap.
The soap should not have any additives. Mix 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of soap into 1 US-quart (950 ml) of water
