Hi Jessica,
We only have experience with the UG11, and it works perfectly.
What lights are you using? You may have to consider the amount of heat generated by them - we had some filters cracking after only a short time due to this. We have found using a thicker filter that is heat tempered solved the problem. A little more expensive, but they work!
Sorry that I cannot comment on the ZWB1 as I have no experience with it.

Subject: filters to refine UV lights?
Hi Eric, I have a follow up question, if you don't mind! In searching for UG11 filters, some sites include ZBW1 as an interchangeable term - or maybe just a very similar product? The band pass spectrum graphs that I've found for each do seem similar, but I wonder if I am missing some other distinction between the two terms and/or products. Do you have any insight into UG11 vs. ZWB1?

Hi Jessica, we use an UG11 UV Pass filter for this purpose. Hope this helps...

Subject: filters to refine UV lights?
Hello all,
The UV lights our studio uses for photography leak quite a bit of visible light, even though the output is listed at 365nm. They seem to be the right lights for our studio at the moment for a number of other reasons, but we'd love if there were some way to filter out the visible light without diminishing the UV. Does anyone know of filters that can refine the light source in this way? Correcting the light as opposed to the camera would be more practical for our situation - but only if a solution exists, of course.
Thank you for your advice!
