Dear Imaging Working Group,
As we discussed in our IWG meeting last week, we are looking to move forward with a new phase of the AIC Wiki's Imaging Section. In order to do that, we are putting out a Call for new Volunteers! Please share this email and/or attached PDF with anyone that might be interested in helping build out our part of the Wiki. It is a great way to meet people in the field, learn something new, and give back to the community.
Call for Volunteers: AIC Wiki's Imaging Section
The AIC Imaging Working Group (IWG) is seeking volunteers to act as Team Leads, Wiki Editors, and Content Creators to create and edit content on the AIC Wiki's Imaging Section. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are passionate about imaging and want to contribute to the field and connect with others working with imaging.
Team Leads are currently needed for the RTI and X-Ray Topic Groups
Wiki Editors and Content Creators are welcome in the following Topic Groups:
X-Radiography
Visible Light Imaging
RTI
3D Imaging
False-color image processing
Infrared Imaging
UV Imaging
As a volunteer, you will have the chance to deepen your understanding of imaging through clear and descriptive writing, as well as to collaborate with fellow experts in the field. Volunteers will be responsible for creating and editing content on the Wiki's Imaging Section and ensuring that the information is accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
The Imaging Section serves as a valuable resource for the conservation and heritage imaging community, providing a wealth of information on imaging techniques, equipment, and best practices. By volunteering as a Team Lead, Wiki Editor, or Content Creator you will be playing a critical role in sharing resources and building the IWG community.
If you are interested in becoming a volunteer for the AIC Wiki's Imaging Section, please reach out to the IWG Leadership team at aic.imagingwg@gmail.com. We look forward to hearing from you and working together to enhance the Wiki.
Many thanks,
Adam Neese
