About Our Featured Expert
Maddie Cooper serves as the Associate Preventive Conservator at the Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts (CCAHA), where she conducts preservation surveys, assessments, and facilitates educational programming. She also works in private practice on risk assessment and emergency planning projects.
Her professional experience includes positions at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens and the Wolfsonian-FIU, complemented by internships with the Disaster Research Center, the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation, and the Midwest Art Conservation Center.
Maddie's interdisciplinary academic background uniquely positions her to address both scientific and cultural aspects of conservation challenges. She holds:

MS in Art Conservation from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation

BA in Chemistry from the University of Delaware

BA in Art Conservation with a minor in Art History from the University of Delaware
