    The Americas: Monday 5th December 2022 (12:00 - 16:00, New York, Washington DC and Ottawa, Canada time)

    Europe: Monday 12th December (10:00 - 16:00, London time)

    Table-top exercises are one of the most time and cost-effective ways of testing the effectiveness of emergency plans and the level of preparedness of an organisation to respond to a disaster. In this course you will learn how to prepare and effectively facilitate a table-top exercise in practice for your organisation. The course will cover the following elements:

    • Planning tabletop exercises: defining purpose and setting objectives, preparing exercise manual document in practice, scenario development and planning logistics

    • Conduct exercise: introducing the tabletop exercise to players, table-top exercise delivery in practice

    • Evaluation: successful debriefing, giving feedback and reporting

    This course is highly practical, and the participants will be required to actively engage in the process of planning, conducting, and evaluating a tabletop exercise during the course.
