Hi all,
I have recently started at the CMA in Cleveland within the paintings studio and have begun working with their new Phase 1 Q4 150MP camera and capture one software. We seem to be toying with the idea of using this camera to do IR imaging and UV with the manufacturer insuring us that this camera is well equipped to do so out of the box with the appropriate filter, quote, "It's the Achromatic series backs, (IQ3 100MP Achromatic and IQ4 150MP Achromatic) are designed without the Infrared Cutoff filter in front of the sensor. They have a clear glass filter. So these backs are designed to have filters in front of the lens. So an Achromatic with one of the B + W 093 IR filter 830 should give you the option to easily capture full infrared images."
We picked up the IR 830 filter and seemed to function well but we were having some focusing issues. My first question is has anyone come across a good solution for phase 1 cameras focusing with IR filters on them? We were also having some trouble dialing in some of the workflow data with a UV innovations color checker in capture one as well and would love to hear of any solutions anyone has come across so far managing these types of problems. I should also note that I have a lot of questions and would love to chat so if anyone has some suggestions we can exchange emails and sort it out.
Thanks a lot!
