I do agree with Natalie that the inability to batch edit records is a drawback. Web Edition only allows batch editing in the location fields.

Hi Jim,
I have been using the web edition for a couple years. My only complaint with the web edition is the inability to batch edit records and create custom reports the way you can in version 5.

Hi Jim,
Last year, we migrated from version 5 to web edition. We have enjoyed accessing the system from off-site (i.e. home) or working from any computer on-site, even a laptop, iPad, or phone. The staff at Past Perfect are great to work with, and they made the transition as seamless as possible. We had a lot of data clean up after Past Perfect's initial data review, which probably slowed our migration. I made a spreadsheet to track all our data clean-up tasks and notes from my interactions with Past Perfect staff. The spreadsheet helped me tremendously in managing the project. Happy to answer any questions you might have. Good luck!

Hi All,
We, at the Castle Rock Museum, are considering moving from Past Perfect 5 to the newer Past Perfect Web Edition. I'm not here to promote Past Perfect as a collections management tool but would really like some feedback from any organization that is currently using the Web Edition, especially if you have previously used the more basic PP 5.
I am out of the office until Friday so would be unable to respond to any questions until then. Thank you in advance for any and all input.
Cordially,
Jim Hansmann
