Heather Galloway is the founder and owner of Galloway Art Conservation located in Cleveland. She is a peer-reviewed Fellow in the American Institute for Conservation (AIC). She has served on AIC's Education and Training Committee for since 2009 and has acted as its chair since 2015. She is on the Advisory Group for the Foundation of the AIC's program Connection to Collections Care, a website and online community designed to assist smaller cultural institutions in caring for their collections.
Courtney Murray joined the Midwest Art Conservation Center (MACC) in 2017, coming from the Denver Art Museum where she worked with an encyclopedic collection of three-dimensional objects. Prior, she completed fellowships and internships at the Royal British Columbia Museum, Toledo Museum of Art, Michael C. Carlos Museum, Smithsonian National Museum of the American Indian, and the Indianapolis Museum of Art. At MACC, she is responsible for the design and implementation of in-depth conservation treatment on a wide range of structures and materials, ranging from archaeological artifacts to contemporary art. She has particular interest in large-scale public art, polychromed wood, industrial coatings, and materials science. Courtney holds a Master of Science in Conservation from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation and a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Emory University. She is a Professional Associate member of the American Institute for Conservation, a member of the International Council of Museums-Committee for Conservation and is OSHA 30-hr certified for the construction industry.
Sarah Norris is Assistant Professor of Practice in Library and Archives Conservation and Preservation at the University of Texas School of Information. Previously, she was conservator at the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, where she established the conservation lab. She is a Fellow in the American Institute for Conservation, and a member of the International Institute for Conservation and the Society of American Archivists. Current projects focus on climate resilience and disaster preparedness for cultural heritage collections. Her research has been published in the Journal of the American Institute for Conservation and the Association of Recorded Sound Collections Journal.
