The Textile Specialty Group Wiki is excited to announce our next edit-a-thon that will focus on the Consolidation/Stabilization - Adhesive Methods page, to take place over the month of November! This page already features a great list of resources and publications on adhesive treatments, and we thank our contributors for sharing bibliographies.
This month we would like to expand the page to include:
- an introduction and considerations for the use of adhesives in textile conservation
- adhesive options
- methods for casting adhesive films
- reactivation options
We're also excited to announce that the TSG is offering complimentary membership as a thank you for significant contributions to this page or any other! Please get in touch with the Wiki coordinators at textilespecialtygroup.wiki@gmail.com if you have ideas of what you'd like to see on the page, or if you have content or images to share. We welcome any contribution great or small, from a single image to a bullet point list of pros/cons or a publication that you found especially helpful (or that you wrote!).
