Greetings All,
I am reaching out to those in the cultural heritage sector to take a couple of surveys regarding risk and condition assessments. This research is for a dissertation within Northumbria's Preventive Conservation master's programme. I have a background in libraries, archives, and conservation and if you would like to learn more about me, please check out my LinkedIn profile.
I am enquiring if the principles of a psychogeographical dérive may be used as a viable method for identifying and assessing risks within collections. Your responses will be used for academic research and will remain confidential in compliance with data protection.
The first survey should take no more than 15 minutes. At the end of the survey, participants will be asked if they would like to partake in Part Two, which includes a walk-through of their collection spaces in the form of a dérive. Guidance will be provided. Questions will be asked regarding the experience. This portion will help to provide more qualitative information for my research.
Please find both a Participation Information Sheet and an Informed Consent Form attached. Please sign the Informed Consent form and email it to me at Rebecca.Philio@northumbria.ac.uk as required by the university.

Thank you so much for your help!
