The C2C Care Community is fortunate to be monitored by a group of volunteer conservation professionals who answer questions directly or seek the assistance of conservators and collections care professionals who provide expert assistance. Our monitor for the next two weeks is @Luisa Casella.
Luisa (she/ her) trained in Art Conservation at the Instituto Politécnico de Tomar in Portugal. She was a Fellow of the Advanced Residency Program in Photograph Conservation at George Eastman House/ Image Permanence Institute, and the inaugural Research Scholar in Photograph Conservation at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. She has held photograph conservator positions at Luis Pavão, Lda., Harry Ransom Center and at West Lake Conservators since 2013 to today. Luisa is a Fellow of AIC and is eager to support collections with preservation questions. This will be her first time serving as a C2C Care Monitor.
