  • 1.  Welcome to our next C2C Care Community Monitor: Victoria Kablys-Nielsen

The C2C Care Community is fortunate to be monitored by a group of volunteer conservation professionals who answer questions directly or seek the assistance of conservators and collections care professionals who provide expert assistance. Our monitor for the next two weeks is @Victoria Kablys-Nielsen.

My name is Victoria Kablys-Nielsen and I am the Conservator at the Royal Saskatchewan Museum (RSM) in Regina, SK, Canada. As an objects conservator, I am most passionate about the care of Indigenous cultural belongings, and enjoy focusing on collaborative, people-centered approaches to care. However, as the sole conservator at natural and cultural history museum, I'm also required to be a bit of a generalist.

I've been a C2C Care Monitor since 2018, and to continue to find this role incredibly rewarding. The questions are always interesting, and I appreciate the opportunity to research new topics and support fellow heritage professionals!

Our thanks to @Victoria Kablys-Nielsen and to all our C2C Care Monitors. Interested in volunteering? Please email c2cc@culturalheritage.org.
