As part of the AIC Wiki Edit-a-Thon month, the BPG Wiki coordinators want to bring your attention to one of our most detailed and recently updated pages: BPG Drying and Flattening.
Originally released in 1984 as Chapter 28 of the first edition of the Paper Conservation Catalog, the page was the topic of the BPG Wiki discussion session at the 2018 annual meeting in Houston. Following that discussion, a great deal of information, as well as schematics showing different flattening methods, were added to the page. This page is also one of the few that have been translated into Spanish and Simplified Chinese.
