As part of our commitment to holding a safe, productive, and successful in-person 50th Annual Meeting in Los Angeles, all in-person attendees must currently either:
1. Show proof of full vaccination with a vaccine that has been approved or approved for Emergency Use by the FDA .
2. Show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken 72 hours prior to check-in at the conference registration desk. However, we maintain the right to require vaccination as the only way to attend the meeting should regulations or recommendations require such action.
For US-based attendees who were vaccinated in the US, we use the Clear Health Pass, a third party app that verifies a copy of your CDC vaccination card. Clear is the same company that runs the airport priority security screening program, but you don't need to be a Clear member to use the app. The Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau will provide this service at no cost to you or us.
For those using the negative COVID-19 test in the US, you will need to use one of the providers that the Clear Health Pass accepts.
For international attendees who have an accepted vaccination status or who will get a COVID-19 test prior to arriving in the US, we are developing procedures to manage this. The Clear Health Pass is US-based only.
Our annual meeting contains offsite events. It is possible that some of the venues for these events will have different regulations from our host hotel. Some offsite venues might require vaccination, but we will communicate these details as soon we know.
