Postprint Submissions

General Session Postprints

Our annual meeting presentations are often published in one of our specialty group or network postprints. Beginning in 2022, we will collect articles, essays, and expanded abstracts from presenters in the 50th annual meeting’s general session and all concurrent general sessions not sponsored by a specialty group or network as well. These sessions have typically been captured in abstract-only form, so we are excited to expand our publications to include this important volume. If your abstract is chosen for one of these sessions, we will approach you with submission information 1-2 months before the annual meeting begins.

Call for Volunteers

The general and concurrent session postprints will require a lead editor and 2-4 supporting editors. You will have the support of the Conference Proceedings Subcommittee and AIC staff members. We also use professional copyeditors and page designers. If you volunteer for this role, your responsibilities would include reaching out to presenters, encouraging submissions, enforcing deadlines, and lightly reviewing manuscripts to ensure they are complete. At the end of the process, you may be asked to review edited documents and proofs to ensure the work was done properly. Time commitment is typically heavier in March - October.

Submission deadline is July 31, 2022. Please check back for detailed submission information. You may use the JAIC Style Guide to determine structure and terminology while we develop author guidelines.

Book and Paper Group Annual (BPG)

The Book and Paper Group Annual is published annually, one year after the meeting's presentations.
