Born and raised in the Western New York Area, she received her bachelors degrees in Art History, Art Education, and Painting and masters degree with certificate of advanced study in Conservation both from Buffalo State College in Buffalo, NY. Gabriel has extensive experience in many aspects of the museum and conservation fields, which aides in providing a multidisciplinary approach for her work. She is a Professional Associate of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC) and is an active member of the conservation community.
