The incumbent will serve as the NARA Exhibits Conservator with a focus on the conservation aspects of exhibition and loan coordination within the Conservation Branch, located in College Park, MD, with support to other NARA offices in the Washington, DC area.

You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirements: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your ability to analyze, review and make recommendations to management regarding agency preservation and conservation policy, programs, and procedures affecting the exhibition or loan of museum objects or archival records with office/agency wide impact; develop and review proposals for policy and implementation in conservation processes for museum objects or archival records; develop preservation-based standards for exhibition or loan activities; conduct training and making oral presentations on the conservation aspects of the loan or exhibition of museum objects or archival records; and knowledge of preservation requirements for the exhibition and loan of museum objects and archival records.
