The Application Process
Obtaining Professional Membership requires a significant time investment in addition to the standard training required to enter the profession, but it is a rewarding process that offers applicants professional recognition by the field at-large and in turn a higher standing when approaching new clients, peers in associated fields, and members of the public.
The process requires applicants to demonstrate strong independent critical thinking skills, knowledge of the methodologies commonly used in each conservation specialty, and a steadfast commitment to our Code of Ethics and Guidelines for Practice.
