Registration is open for the 7th Annual Art & Theater Safety Course!
Designed and led by industrial hygienist Monona Rossol, this ONLINE program focuses on health and safety issues unique to professionals, teachers, and students working in the creative arts, including:
• Materials, processes, and equipment
• Laws, regulations, codes, and standards
• Requirements for professional studios
• Requirements for classrooms for all student populations (children, college-age, seniors, and art therapy patients)
• Ventilation for infection control and other pandemic issues
Traditionally, program participants include a range of conservators, professional artists, safety professionals, industrial hygienists, and theatrical and film professionals.
Students who pass the final exam will receive a letter certifying their training in certain OSHA regulations and fitness to consult in this area.
Tuition:
$700 payable by check or money order in advance to Arts, Crafts & Theater Safety (ACTS) and sent attention to: Monona Rossol at 181 Thompson St., #23, New York NY 10012.
