Hi Ella,
Our former ECPN liaison had planned on gathering grants for students, especially non-American students, for working on-site. This is still a gap that AHN needs to work on.
The only grant that I can think of right now is AIA's Jane C. Waldbaum Archaeological Field School Scholarship as my classmate was awarded this grant specifically to work in an on-site laboratory. I can't see why the Elizabeth Bartman Museum Internship wouldn't be related as well. If the site is ASOR-related, there are many grants related to working on one of those.
It would be great if the hosting site would fund or sponsor students for work. I'm not sure what the site is or who the head conservator is but there is a newly published field compensation report by AHN editor Julie Unruh that can be used to show those in charge of budgets what our rate of pay should be regardless of being a student or not.
I hope this helps and If I remember or see other grants, I'll share them here.
Best,
Skyler
