If you are interested in learning more about the principles and practices of Collections Management and Preventive Conservation then the online graduate certificate program in Museum Collections Management and Care may be worth pursuing!
We are accepting applications until August 1 for a late August start.
The program consists of 4 classes (2 in Preventive Conservation and 2 in Collections Management), is entirely online, and asynchronous so you complete weekly coursework when it suits your schedule. The classes run one-at-a-time in the fall, spring, summer, and fall semesters.
So, if you start this fall, you will have your graduate certificate in Museum Collections Management & Care from The George Washington University in December 2025.
