    Hello,

I'm hoping to undertake a vibration study of our sensitive artifacts on display ahead of an upcoming construction project. I'll first measure our baseline levels in various locations in our galleries, then experiment with levels caused by music (special events), visitor traffic, and construction equipment, and then finally test various mitigation strategies. Has anyone undertaken a comprehensive vibration study in their museum? Do you have recommendation for vibration monitoring equipment/sensors?

Any suggestions or input would be much appreciated!

    Many thanks,

    Zoé

    Hello Zoé,
As the acting C2C Care community monitor, I'd like to thank you for posting this question to the community. I've gathered some vibration monitoring resources for you, including a case study or two, and I'm hoping community members will be able to share their own experiences with similar projects. Although the C2C Care program does not endorse any particular manufacturer or product, members are welcome to discuss their equipment experiences and recommendations .
