Hi all-
A quick reminder that while we encourage the sharing of resources in the C2C Care Community - posting of certain suppliers doesn't imply endorsement by this program. Thanks!

Subject: Recommendations for containers for freezer storage
Hi all!
My library is looking for recommendations for the best storage box for freezing materials. We have three on-site freezers and are frequently using them for various collection emergencies, so I was hoping to find a sturdy, reusable option.
We currently use ResCubes that were left behind from a salvage and recovery contractor, but if you've ever used these, you will know they completely tear up your hands and nails as you construct them en masse (and become brittle after a few years). I was looking into collapsible milk crates but then read that the material they are made from (high-density polyethylene) doesn't do well in cold temperatures. So my brilliant plan appears to have been not so brilliant after all.
Does your institution use anything that you've been really happy with? Thank you for any recommendations!
