  • 1.  Sourcing Recommendation for Choral Music Storage Boxes

    Hello,

    I'm posting on behalf of a music librarian and a curator at my institution who are looking for an alternate vendor of archival choral music boxes, as the vendors they have previously ordered from have gone out of business. They are specifically looking for archival boxes in this style for a collection rehousing project.

    Heavy Duty Music Storage Boxes made from chipboard, with black bookbinders cloth front, back and bottom with a black leatherette pull tab riveted to the front of the box.
    If anyone has vendor or sourcing recommendations, they would be greatly appreciated.

    One possibility might be to go to Hollinger Metal Edge and see if they can make them. It would be a custom order, but that might be your only option. Also, you'd be getting acid-free supplies for the longest preservation of the music.
