  • 1.  Static on Plexiglass

    Posted 21 days ago
    Hello Everyone,

I am curious to know if there is a museum friendly material that can be applied to plexiglass vitrines to decrease static.  After dust is wiped off with a microfiber and/or damp Kimwipes (deionized water/isopropyl), it seems to be only a matter of seconds before you can watch new tiny dust particles start clinging from the static.

If anyone has certain materials they use, or ways that they deal with static on plexi I would be curious to hear your thoughts.

    Thanks,
    Todd

There is a product I use called "Brillianize" which is used by many professionals to both clean and de-Static plexiglass. Available from Amazon, despite its low cost is excellent in my experience.
