The C2C Care Community is fortunate to be monitored by a group of volunteer conservation professionals who answer questions directly or seek the assistance of conservators and collections care professionals who provide expert assistance. Our monitor for the next two weeks is @Jess Ortegon.
Jess Ortegon is currently the Preventive Conservation Librarian at Penn Libraries, working to preserve collections across all library spaces through conservation treatment, housing, and collections care management. They received their MS in Art Conservation in 2022 and are a current member of the American Institute for Conservation (AIC) and the Guild of Bookworkers.
Jess states "I've just started as a C2C Care Monitor, but I'm very excited about volunteering to help out those from all institutions!"
