About the Meeting

Since 1981, our Photographic Materials Group has hosted a winter meeting. The meeting is generally hosted every other year. The Topics in Photographic Preservation publication includes papers from AIC Annual Meetings and AIC-PMG Winter Meetings.

The next meeting will be held February 3-5, 2027, at the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

The call for papers is now open! Please submit an abstract for in-person presentation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, February 3-5, 2027. You may submit the same abstract for the AIC Annual Meeting and the AIC-PMG Winter Meeting. See the submission form for details.

  • We recorded sessions at the 2025 meeting and have made them available on-demand to past and future registrants.
  • Cost is $79 ($59 for group members; $29 for student members)
