Biographical Information:

Viviana Dominguez, is the principal at Art Conservators Lab (Miami), she holds a Masters Degree on Fine Arts from the University of the Arts (UNA) in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She also holds a Certificate on Art Conservation from the Conservation/Restoration Institute in Argentina. She has more than 27 years of experience in the field promoting the preservation and conservation of Public Art collections and national monuments all around the US and internationally in the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Curaçao, Argentina and Spain. As an educator she designed and opened the first Conservation program at a university level in Argentina. In 2014 she was awarded the Los Angeles Conservancy Award for her conservation mural project at the Bob Hope Veteran Hall in California. Smithsonian Institution contracted Ms. Dominguez as the leading mural and paintings conservator for the Smithsonian Haitian Cultural Recovery program. Ms. Dominguez volunteers for the National Heritage Responders assisting on disaster response recovery efforts. She is presently working on the conservation of a mural fresco painting in Santo Domingo, Republican Republic funded by the US Ambassadors Funds for Cultural Preservation and on the tile murals at the St. Elisabeth Hospital in Willemstad, Curaçao.
