Biographical Information:

Lisa Duncan is a Paper and Photograph Conservator in Seattle, Washington. She graduated with a MS in Art Conservation from the Winterthur/ University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation in 2009. She also holds a BA in Chemistry from Occidental College in Los Angeles, California. Before starting her business, Lisa interned at the Center for Creative Photography in Tucson, Arizona where she treated photographs by Ansel Adams. She has also completed internships at the J. Willard Marriott Library in Salt Lake City, UT; at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston in Texas; with Silverpoint Art Conservation, LLC when it was located in Albuquerque; at Historic New England in Boston, Massachusetts; at the Weissman Preservation Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and with Heugh-Edmondson Conservation Services, LLC in Kansas City, Missouri. Lisa is a Professional Associate (PA) of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC). She also is a member of the Registrars Committee-AAM, National Trust for Historic Preservation, The Washington Museums Association, and the Western Association for Art Conservation (WAAC)
