Biographical Information:

Rowan Geiger, is the Director, Owner and Principal Conservator of Preservation Arts based in Oakland, CA, which is one of the biggest multi-disciplinary conservation centers on the West Coast. She earned a masters degree in conservation from the Royal College of Art, London. In addition to three years in studio training at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, she has held staff positions at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco; San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; Asian Art Museum, San Francisco; Stanford University Libraries and was the chief Conservator at SFO Museum from 2008-2013. She established Preservation Arts (formerly known as SF Art Conservation) in 2014.
