Chloe Castro is an objects conservator based in Fairfield, CT. She has experience treating ceramics, glass, plaster, various metals, ivory, stone, and wood. She particularly enjoys treating glass and ceramic, and one of her favorite projects was a tiny netsuke. She is a Professional Member of the American Institute of Conservation.
She received her MFA in Historic Preservation from Savannah College of Art & Design, and has worked in private conservation practices in California for more than a decade, and is looking forward to her new NE surroundings. Chloe has worked with such institutions as The Getty Center, SFMOMA, and BMAPFA, as well as private clients and collections, spanning California, Nevada, and New York.
