If so, you have benefited from the work of the Foundation for Advancement in Conservation.
As a donor, you support these essential and highly valued professional resources. General membership dues do not fund foundation programs, so each initiative we undertake is made possible with the assistance of our specialty groups and generous gifts from supporters like you.
Help our foundation programs remain strong for the future by growing your individual contribution. Each year, we must raise more than $245,000 to keep our programs going and to supplement our existing resources.
"It is extremely important to experience the re-charge and inspiration that comes from attending a workshop and having a chance to interact with colleagues and delve deeply into a conservation-related subject."
- Denise Stockman, participant in the Modern/Contemporary Print Identification workshop
Our Funding Gap
Every foundation program is built around, is supported by, and shares responsibility for core mission support. Core mission support is funding for the finance, human resources, governance, and fundraising infrastructure that supports the entire organization.
When programs are only partially funded by contributions or earned revenue or when support is limited to only the direct expenses of the program, we face a gap. Not only is one program affected, but the health of the entire organization is at risk.
If you value the resources and services provided by the foundation, please consider making a gift, of any size, to strengthen the organization that works in tandem with your association to support conservation efforts and the preservation of cultural heritage. Donations to our general fund do more to support the breadth of all of our programs, including the ones that you care about the most.
