Dear colleagues,
As my term as Chair of the AIC Imaging Working Group comes to a close, I want to take a moment to thank you all for your ongoing support, collaboration, and curiosity. It's been a privilege to serve, and I've learned so much from the conversations, programs, and projects we've shared over the past few years.
I also want to give a special shout out to Mackenzie Klaeser, our outgoing Secretary, and Wendy Rose, our outgoing Wiki Lead. Thanks to you both for your dedication to the ongoing success of the IWG!
I'm very happy to introduce the incoming IWG leadership team, who will begin their roles in June 2025. This group brings a dynamic mix of expertise, perspectives, and dedication to advancing imaging practices in conservation:
-
Jeffrey Evans, Chair
Manager of Visual Resources / Photographer – Princeton University Art Museum
-
Tessa de Alarcon, Secretary
Museum Conservator – Penn Museum
-
Camilla Perondi, Wiki Lead
Conservation Scientist / Imaging Specialist – Art + Image
-
E. Keats Webb, Advisor
Imaging Scientist – Smithsonian's MCI
-
Adam Neese, Advisor
Senior Collections Photographer for Conservation – MoMA
I'm confident this team will continue to foster thoughtful exchange, share practical resources, and guide the IWG with care and creativity. Please join me in welcoming them as they step into their new roles!
You can follow IWG updates and join in on discussions right here on the AIC Community - we hope to see you there.
With appreciation,
Adam Neese
