Microfading Tester International Discussion Group

Hello all,

For those of you that use the Fotonowy model and have the bulb changer, what, if any UV LEDs are you using? We were informed they have LEDs at 345 and 365 nm. We are upgrading our system and want to incorporate one of these in our changer. Thanks!

Dear Catherine,

We selected a 365nm LED as it was the most common UV LED and we felt we only had space for 1 UV LED in our 6-LED changer.

If interested in smaller wavelengths, I wonder if you could expose samples to an external UV source separate from the Fotonowy LEDs, though this would be a broad exposure and likely not suitable for artwork.
