Thank you to all the people who have already responded to the survey on Materials Choice and Preventive Care. We are extending the response deadline for one more week until April 23. Please see the survey link below and the information previously posted on the survey.
Even if you have not registered for the Materials Choice and Preventive Care luncheon session at the upcoming AIC-CAC Annual Meeting we hope that you may be interested in responding to the survey developed by members of AIC's Materials Selection and Specification Working Group (MWG) and/or AIC's Preventive Care Network. The luncheon session aims to illustrate and discuss some of the challenges that collection stewards face in choosing safe and sustainable materials for case construction and storage solutions. We are looking forward to an informative session with a combination of talks and discussion.
We have designed a survey that will help us understand a bit more about the interests of the luncheon participants and will guide the discussion portion of our program as well as directions for future MWG research and projects.
About the Survey
- Response to the survey questions need to be submitted by April 17.
- The survey uses Google forms and requires a valid email.
- It also asks for respondents to identify themselves by name and institution/organization, but these are not required fields and no other personal information is required.
- We estimate that the survey will take 10-12 minutes to complete.
- A summary of the luncheon session, including analysis of survey responses may be posted on the AIC blog.
- No individual respondents or institutional names will be shared publicly.
- Survey responses will be held by the session organizers until the end of 2026 and then will be deleted.
