Ashley Stanford is the Associate Conservator and Studio Manager at the Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts (CCAHA) NYC Studio. She earned her Master’s from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation (WUDPAC) in 2024, majoring in photograph conservation and minoring in paper conservation. Prior to joining CCAHA in 2026, Ashley was the Andrew W. Mellon Fellow in Photography Conservation at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). Her training includes graduate internships at MoMA, The Better Image, LACMA, and Gawain Weaver Art Conservation, as well as pre-program work at the Menil Drawing Institute, MFA Houston, the Rothko Chapel, and UT Austin’s Landmarks program. She is also an active member of the Emerging Conservation Professionals Network (ECPN), recently serving as Chair (2025–2026) following roles as PMG Liaison, Outreach Co-Officer, and Houston Regional Liaison. She holds a BA in Art History from the University of Texas at Austin.
