Hello everyone,
I am pleased to share that FAIC has named Christina Cain as the new Emergency Programs Manager. Christina comes to us from the University of Colorado Museum of Natural History, where as Manager of Cultural Collections she has overseen complex grant-funded projects and managed all NAGPRA legal compliance activities. She is a National Heritage Responder and has served on the Colorado Cultural and Historic Resources Task Force since 2013, and served as chair for several years. She is also Emergency Preparedness Chair for the Colorado Wyoming Association of Museums Board. I will be sure the Sustainability Committee is one of her first contacts when she begins work with us the week of November 18th.
