Update on Wiki Aqueous Cleaning edit-a-thon!
We're more than half way through our month-long focus on the
aqueous cleaning page of the textile specialty group Wiki, with new contributions added weekly! New content that has been added to the page includes:
- Factors to consider when planning a wet cleaning
- An overview of the types of water and water conductivity
- Chelators that may be useful for textile objects and references for case studies involving the use of chelators
- An overview of surfactants used in wet cleaning
As always, we welcome edits to this new content. Did we miss an important chelator? Do you have an excellent resource (perhaps that you wrote) that we don't have listed yet? Please share!
We're also looking for images, particularly a dramatic sequence of rinse water from an aqueous cleaning.
Thanks to all who have participated so far, and stay tuned for more new content!
