Submarine Force Museum and Historic Ship Nautilus

Biography

I hold an M.S. in the Textiles, Fashion Merchandising and Design Department at the University of Rhode Island, with a concentration in Historic Fashion and Textiles, Textile Conservation, and Cultural Analysis. As part of my studies I completed a collections internship with the Newport Restoration Foundation at their Rough Point site. My current position is Collections Technician for the Submarine Force Museum and Historic Ship Nautilus. I also hold a BFA in Theatre, with a concentration in Costume Design and Technology, and a BA in French. Prior to pursuing my master's degree, I had a successful career in theatrical costuming. This culminated in work as a lecturer/guest artist in costume design and assistant costume shop manager at a private college.
