Brian Kapernekas is a Professional Member of AIC, and holds a current position at Graphic Conservation Company. He has worked in the private sector as a Professional Associate Conservator of Works on Paper as well as overseeing special projects for various institutions and museums throughout the U.S. Some of the projects include collections assessment, storage monitoring, preparation and art handling, museum level framing and installation. He has also assisted in triaging various museum and private based collections that have been affected by natural disasters. Brian has been in the field of conservation for over 21 years.
