Biography

Erin Bârsan is a Cultural Heritage Professional and Program & Grants Manager based in New York City. She serves as Program Manager at the Canyon Media Art Conservation Center (CMACC), a nonprofit conservation lab dedicated to the documentation, stewardship, and long-term care of complex media artworks, where she oversees day-to-day operations, conservation projects, and membership programs. Previously, Erin served as a Program Officer at the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), cultivating and managing a national grant portfolio focused on archives, digital stewardship, and community memory. In 2017, Erin was selected as part of the inaugural cohort of the National Digital Stewardship Residency for Art Information (NDSR Art) program. Her work centers equity-driven program design and expanding access to knowledge through sustainable cultural heritage infrastructure.
