Fiona Graham is a conservator specializing in preventive conservation and outdoor metals conservation. She has a Master's degree in Art Conservation (Artifacts) from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario and is accredited by the Canadian Association of Professional Conservators and the Canadian Association of Professional Heritage Consultants. She has worked at a number of museums (Royal Saskatchewan Museum, National Gallery of Canada, Canadian Museum of Nature, Montreal Museum of Fine Arts) as well as the Canadian Conservation Institute and the Centre de conservation du Quebec. She has served as Collections Preservation Advisor for the Department of Canadian Heritage and as both Conservation Advisor and Museum Advisor for the Ontario Ministry of Culture. During her time at the Ministry, she managed the revision of the Standards for Community Museums in Ontario. From 2008 to 2014 she was an Associate with Goldsmith Borgal & Company Ltd. Architects based in Toronto, Ontario where she contributed expertise in metals conservation, documentation systems, and conservation project management as well as the incorporation of preventive conservation principles into museum design. Fiona was the course director for the Ontario Museum Association's Care of Collections course from 1999 to 2014, teaches the Collections Conservation course as part of Athabasca University's Heritage Resource Management program, and teaches the mandatory Conservation Principles course in Queen's University's Master of Art Conservation program.
