Isabel Schneider is an object conservator working at the Brooklyn Museum. She graduated from the UCLA/ Getty Conservation of Cultural Heritage M.A. program, where she specialized in archaeological and indigenous material culture conservation. She held graduate internships with the Brooklyn Museum, Arizona State Museum, and the Michael C. Carlos Museum and has participated in conservation field work at Florissant National Monument, San Xavier del Bac Mission Church, archaeological sites in Israel, and the American Excavation at Samothrace, Greece. Prior to beginning her conservation career, Isabel worked as an artist, a teacher, and a museum development officer.
