Lyudmyla Babadzhanova is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in book and paper conservation. With a strong foundation in Libraries and Archives Conservation, she holds a key role at the Center for Jewish History, where she currently serves as a Book Conservator, managing the preservation lab and contributing to vital conservation efforts for rare books and archival collections.
Lyudmyla's commitment to education is evident through her teaching experiences, including a tutorial workshop at The Jewish Museum, where she shared her expertise in paper conservation techniques. She has also been an Instructor at the AIC/FAIC Preventive Conservation Workshop, where she mentored aspiring conservation professionals.
With an MA and Certificate of Advanced Study in Libraries and Archives Conservation from Buffalo State University, as well as a BA in Art History from Hunter College, Lyudmyla combines her passion for art and preservation with her technical skills.
