Sari Uricheck has been a practicing conservator for more than twenty years. An MBA focused on sustainable business informs her consulting work with the Cultural Heritage Finance Alliance. She is the Director of Acanthus Conservation LLC in New York City. Sari has worked and studied in the US and abroad. Pivotal experience gained in England, France, Germany, Greece, Russia, and Italy has broadened her skills, perspective and professional network. Since completing her conservation degree at NYU’s Institute of Fine Arts, she’s held amongst others, positions with the the American Museum of Natural History, Metropolitan Museum of Art, and Cleveland Museum of Art. Sari welcomes challenging projects and collaborations, always pushing the envelope to advance the field of practice and find the most elegant solutions to conservation and collection needs.
