Susan D. Costello received a BA in chemistry from College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA and her MS in art conservation with a specialty in objects conservation from the Winterthur/University of Delaware Program. After graduation, she completed the advanced level objects internship at the Straus Center for Conservation and Technical Studies, Harvard Art Museums. She then joined the Worcester Art Museum first as the Samuel H. Kress fellow and subsequently as the Andrew W. Mellon fellow in objects conservation. Currently she is conservator of objects and sculpture at the Straus Center.
