Suzy Morgan is a graduate of the conservation program at the University of Texas at Austin. She has had conservation internships at Northwestern University Libraries, Syracuse University Library, and has also worked as a conservator in private practice. Currently she is the Conservator for Arizona State University Library, where she is responsible for overseeing the preservation of over 4 million bound volumes and other assorted cultural heritage objects.
Suzy has a deep and abiding interest in creating beautiful spreadsheets to combat tedious and antiquated workflows. This has enabled her to design and implement several successful collection management and preservation related tools that have greatly increased the efficiency and effectiveness of a highly streamlined preservation department. Her information technology experience includes working as the Web Manager for the Newberry Library, and as a help desk staff member in the Information Technology Lab at UT Austin.
