It is not exactly South Florida, but the best motorcycle museum I have ever encountered is Wheel Through Time in Maggie Valley NC. I have used protective cardboard corner guards. I attach one leg of the L to the stretcher. Then some type of strapping can be stretched over the vertical L leg.
